Overview

ITT Horizon, the holding company for ITT businesses in France (ITT Mach10, ITT Vimo, ITT Rent), owned by the ITT group with over 692 employees and €363 million in revenue, is looking for an accountant based in Bruguière (31) to work in France. ITT, International Trucks & Tractors, is a distribution group and leader in the sale of agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and transport vehicles. The group operates in France, Spain, Morocco, and Chile. You will report directly to the Administrative and Financial Director for France and will be responsible for the tasks assigned to you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general and auxiliary accounts in accordance with accounting rules and standards (in conjunction with our parent company in Spain)
• Carry out collection operations, including payment tracking, dispute/credit processing, and follow-up on unpaid invoices, and monitor cash flow
• Create customer and supplier accounts and respond to their requests
• Index, file, and archive documents
• Review the general ledgers on a weekly basis
• Participate in other administrative and accounting tasks and cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• You have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
• You have training in accounting (minimum 2 years of higher education).
• You are committed and a good communicator, as you will be required to interact with various contacts at different sites.
• You enjoy working in a team and achieving common goals.

• You are proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
