We are looking for an Accountant to join Antech Diagnostics France, responsible for preparing and analysing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and tax returns. The role will support the Finance Operations team in ensuring accurate, timely financial records and efficient accounting operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own accounting and reporting for the Antech Diagnostics France entity
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts (including bank, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments) and resolve discrepancies
• Produce financial reports, including monthly close, profit & loss statements and cost accounting reports
• Perform variance analysis and ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses
• Maintain the fixed asset register, monitor capital expenditure and support annual budgeting and forecasting
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights and drive continuous process improvements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree in business accounting or related field
• Proven experience in a similar role as an Accountant. Prior experience with a Big4 in accounting, audit FMGC experience is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Experience with financial statement reporting obligations, including an understanding of US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
• Organised with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel (i.e. pivots, VLOOKUP's), and PowerPoint. Knowledge of IFS8 system is a plus
