Account Manager/Sales Rep (Entry Level)

Job Description

Creative Touch is a wholesale/manufacturer of fine handmade rugs. Our showroom/warehouse is located in Fairfield, NJ.

We have an opening for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual willing to learn new skills and who can start immediately. We will train and mentor you for your success.

As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for promoting sales and developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients as well as creating new relationships within the interior design industry. You will liaise between design clients and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to the client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate as the lead point of contact to your clients
• Create and develop contact with new clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Present our product to clients, identify needs, overcome obstacles, and close sales
• Produce quotes and negotiate pricing within company guidelines
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product to client
• Meet sales objectives
• Attend special events in off hours
• Some travel required to nationwide trade shows and local client deliveries

Requirements

• Ambitious and self driven with a strong work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong math and problem solving skills
• Strong presentation skills as well as a professional appearance
• Flexibility to travel to attend trade shows and other events as needed
• College degree or equivalent is preferable
• Experience in sales or customer service experience a plus
• Experience in flooring, rugs, or interior design a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
