The role of an Account Manager is to proactively manage a portfolio of clients with a focus on retention, increased revenue and customer satisfaction. The role involves constant liaison and collaboration with all client frontline activities including Customer Training, Sales Specialists, our Customer Relationship Management centres, admin and local Technical support in the countries.

Roles and Responsibilities:External Focus Interact with customers who use Thomson Reuters products and to establish a professional relationship with them in order to retain and grow the business

Demonstrate LSEG's products to customers predominantly via on-line demonstration tools

Where necessary troubleshoot specific problems, enlisting the help of internal support/product/admin groups

The recognition of cross sell and up sell opportunities and resolution of common problems

Record in the appropriate systems (Siebel, Sales Force.

Com, etc.) all contact history information to facilitate an improved knowledge of the customer with the objective of building increased retention and increased sales revenue

Provide proactive support to customers using all tools and resources available

Set correct customer expectations

Elicit customer feedback to improve processes

Manage escalated problems in area of specialization

Internal Focus

Adhere to schedules and targets

Consolidate and communicate information to Line Manager

Imparting knowledge to others within the team and outside the team

Participates in developing and implementing new work processes

Self-development - including product specialization, markets knowledge, and technical skills

Participates in devising processes for team development

Qualifications:Language: French (mother tongue)

English (fluent)

Desirable Qualifications: Master's degree (or eqivalent) in Economics, Finance or related field.

Professional certifications such as CAIA, CFA or equivalent financial market qualifications would be advantageous

Skills/Knowledge

Deep understanding of Financial Market and in particular of the Banking and FX space

Exceptional execution skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Proven track record of sales excellence
