Job Description

As an Account Manager (AM), you will drive sales and manage customer relationships within your assigned area. You will sell multi‑channel and online solutions to customers looking to sell used equipment, trucks, and other assets. With autonomy, you will develop business strategies, prospect for new customers, and manage existing accounts to maximize revenue. You will proactively prospect and cold‑call new customers, and meet existing accounts on‑site.

Responsibilities

  • Sell multi‑channel solutions and services through prospecting, pipeline management, and business development within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities, conduct high‑volume outbound calls to generate new and repeat sales, develop sales strategies, and keep a client portfolio with regular updates.
  • Work with internal teams (sales support, Strategic Accounts, Territory Managers, Marketing) to ensure seamless execution of sales and customer service.
  • Attend auctions, fairs, events, meet clients in person, and travel overnight as needed to cover the territory effectively.
  • Manage pricing and contract terms with customers.
  • Adapt sales strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in sales and/or industry‑specific will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management or inside sales.
  • Professional level English.
  • Experience leveraging CRM tools.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills are essential.
  • Heavy machinery experience and/or knowledge of agricultural equipment is an asset.
  • A proactive approach combined with a customer‑first attitude.
