We Operate Across Three Business Lines With One Mission
- Online team: Account Managers grow and manage our portfolio of e-commerce partners, directly with e-merchants or through affiliates.
- Card-Linked team: Sales sign Enterprise deals with top-tier retailers with physical stores; Account Managers grow long-lasting partnerships.
- Gift Cards team: Account Managers grow and manage the portfolio of brands and retailers through provider relations and direct merchant relationships.
You’ll join the Gift Cards team, a growing business line. This is an opportunity to become our first Gift Cards Account Manager, shaping merchant collaboration and identifying and closing new opportunities. If you’ve been waiting for a role where you can make a real impact, this is it.
What you will do
- Own and grow the Gift Cards business commercially
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading merchants and providers
- Negotiate deals to secure value for Joko users
- Identify untapped opportunities across categories
- Design processes from scratch, including merchant collaboration and commercial strategy
- Own the role with ownership, creativity, and negotiation power to shape the business line
- Within 18 months, aim to make Joko the go-to partner for gift cards
Your responsibilities
- Build the foundations of Gift Cards partnerships: be the first point of contact for merchants
- Negotiate favorable rates and terms to maximize user value and growth
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with merchants and partners
- Spot opportunities and convert them into deals
- Sign new merchants and expand the catalog to offer a wide attractive selection
- Collaborate with Marketing to highlight gift cards and enhance visibility
- Monitor performance and prioritize growth levers
Who we’re looking for
- Languages: Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
- Experience: 3–5 years in a commercial role (Account Management, Business Development, Sales) in a fast-growing environment
- Education: Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, challenge-driven, feedback-friendly, and always learning. Strong adaptability, organization, and autonomy. You go the extra mile.
- Commercial skills: Skilled negotiator, focus on win-win partnerships, closing deals, and spotting revenue opportunities
- Analytical skills: Data-driven, able to translate numbers into action
- Energy: Enjoy connecting with new people, active listening, solution-oriented
