Your role
As Account Manager, you are responsible for driving customer satisfaction and sales performance within the French meat processing market, with a strong focus on Brittany. The role requires high customer experience and satisfaction levels, and sales of stand‑alone machines as well as full Primary processing lines to meet revenue and profitability targets. You will develop and convey solution proposals within the Primary area that are value‑adding to both the customer and JBT Marel, following through on delivery of these solutions. With support from the Industry Sales Manager and Product Specialists, you may also be responsible for sales of more complex integrated systems. You will work closely with Product Specialists, Sales Engineers, and internal stakeholders throughout the full customer journey—from identifying opportunities and understanding customer needs to delivering successful solutions and maintaining long‑term partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the meat processing industry in France, especially in Brittany.
- Drive sales of stand‑alone equipment as well as integrated Primary processing lines.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into practical, value‑driven processing solutions.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting and opportunity development through quotation, negotiation, and project handover.
- Work closely with Product Specialists and Sales Engineers to develop technical and commercial proposals.
- Support the successful implementation and delivery of sold solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer experience and satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
- Contribute to strategic account planning and annual sales plans for the region.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and proactively manage opportunities.
- Participate in exhibitions, customer demonstrations, and industry events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to identify future business opportunities.

Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B technical sales, account management, or solution selling.
- Experience within food processing, meat processing, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical processing solutions and translate them into customer value.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- Self‑driven, proactive, and solution‑oriented personality.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across international teams.
- Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel regularly within France and occasionally internationally (approximately 50%).
