Account Manager – (Chemicals Raw Materials)

With a presence in Spain and subsidiaries in Italy, France and Algeria, we operate across 18 countries, working alongside international manufacturers, R&D institutions and distributors.

Join our commercial team in France to develop business across the Detergency & Home Care, Plastics & Polymers and Coatings product lines — acquiring new clients and growing the existing portfolio with a results‑driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and developing new clients in target sectors
• Managing, retaining and growing the existing client portfolio
• Identifying business opportunities and proposing tailored technical solutions
• Monitoring margins, revenue and market positioning
• Internal coordination with logistics, purchasing and commercial management
• Technical‑commercial support and after‑sales follow‑up
• Participation in trade fairs and sector events, nationally and internationally
• Identifying and proposing new strategic products

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical raw materials (detergency, polymers, plastics or coatings)
• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar
• Strong business and results‑oriented mindset
• Experience in business development and key account management (KAM)
• Good knowledge of the French market, its applications and key players
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office and ERP systems
• Willingness to travel as required
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Autonomy, proactivity and pipeline management
• Ability to build long‑term trusted relationships
• Margin and profitability focus
