Job Description
Position: Account Manager (Card‑Linked)
Location: Paris office‑based. This position is not remote‑friendly.
The card‑linked team is divided between three business lines: Online, Card‑Linked, and Gift Cards. Account Managers grow and manage e‑commerce partners, sign enterprise deals with top‑tier retailers, and build long‑lasting partnerships.
At Joko, the Account Manager (Card‑Linked) will increase Joko’s turnover by maintaining and developing existing partnerships with top‑tier retailers in the French market. The role works with the Card‑Linked Account Strategist Lead and a cross‑functional team including Sales, Business Operations, Product, Data, and Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Allow partners to reach their target audience and acquire new customers through powerful payment‑data targeting.
- Leverage payment‑data‑based analysis to understand market trends and tailor offer proposals.
- Help partners build brand awareness among more than 3 million people using Joko for everyday spending, collaborating with the marketing team.
- Become a trusted partner, helping define global marketing strategy.
- Create strong and long‑lasting relationships with partners, including day‑to‑day management and regular touchpoints such as meetings and live events.
- Work with Product and BizOps to improve processes, build foundations for scaling the department in France and abroad.
- Contribute to the design of the commercial and onboarding strategy.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, consulting, or startups.
- Graduated from a top‑tier business or engineering school.
- Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills, loves analyzing data and making informed decisions.
- Energetic, active listening, crafting solutions to challenges.
- Efficient with productivity tools, deliver on time on projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, welcomes feedback, constantly learning, adaptable, organized, autonomous, goes the extra mile.
