Account Manager - Aftermarket Europe - French Speaker
Account Manager – EMEA – Schrader Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) & PrecoRADAR
The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing accounts and driving new business development across the EMEA region for the Schrader Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) and PrecoRADAR product portfolios within the automotive and heavy‑duty independent aftermarket.
Core Responsibilities
- Leads the direct sales process and achieves sales targets.
- Manages regular visits with existing customers and develops relationships with prospective clients.
- Oversees day‑to‑day account management activities to ensure account performance and growth.
- Develops and submits short‑ and long‑range sales plans, and prepares sales strategies using available marketing programs to achieve defined targets.
- Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service.
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsible for revenue generation in the European market.
- Ensures consistent growth of pipeline by winning new business in existing and new accounts.
- Directs external sales representatives and partners.
- Interprets and analyzes data to create solutions to grow revenue and placement.
- Responsible for Sales/Revenue inputs into the annual plan, quarterly updates, and long‑range planning processes for specific accounts.
- Maintains and grows significant relationships in multiple departments, understands product journey, and can create decision trees for all steps.
- Creates and executes sales strategies to win against highly commoditized product lines in the automotive aftermarket.
Experience and Qualifications
- University degree required (Bachelor’s degree) or 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Independent Automotive Aftermarket with proven experience working with spare parts wholesale distributors, complete wheel wholesalers, and tire retailers.
- Proven track record of driving at least 5MEUR in sales and achieving significant revenue growth in the European Independent Aftermarket.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation); strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization, planning and time‑management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Ability to manage sales representatives, agencies, and drive ownership of accounts.
- Strategic vision: ability to develop and execute a strategy for accounts.
- Business acumen: ability to analyze information and leverage findings to set and drive sales strategy.
Languages & Travel
- Fluent in English and French.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
