Account Manager
To support the continued growth of our multicultural and dynamic European headquarters, we are looking for a motivated and autonomous French/English speaking Account Manager (m/f) to strengthen our presence in the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on automotive customers.
SUMMARY
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial relationship, business development initiatives and account management contributing directly to the company’s strategic growth across Europe, representing both ASE and USI entities. You will need a good understanding and experience in the Semiconductor industry and/or Electronics manufacturing, System assembly, Miniaturization and SiP, particularly within the Automotive industry. You’ll be someone with a strong technology focus, and the ability to capture customers’ needs and future plans from a business point of view. You need to feel comfortable to conduct successful meetings and discussions at different levels with customers and factories (Engineer, Manager, Directors and VP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Manager’s key focus and responsibilities will be the overall account management and business opportunities development. You will support the Sr Sales Manager and work closely with internal teams and management.
- Handle customer revenue and future revenue pipeline.
- Coordinate technical support between customers and factory interfaces.
- Prepare written quotes, increase sales in existing accounts, prepare quarterly reviews and forecast sales.
- Coordinate and manage all technical and business-related activities to help create optimal revenue with existing customers, assessing services and customer needs with ASE and USI.
- Act as the primary commercial interface between customers and ASE/USI.
- Represent ASE/USI at industry events, conferences, and technical forums to promote capabilities, technology leadership, and competitive advantages.
- Identify customer needs and propose value-driven technical and commercial solutions.
- Support strategic initiatives and long-term customer positioning.
- Develop technology and service promotion strategies with key customers by understanding their business drivers, IC applications, system architectures, and market positions.
- Create technical marketing materials (presentations, white papers, and technical briefings) to communicate ASE/USI’s capabilities and technology differentiation.
- Deliver technical presentations and engage with customer design, packaging, and system teams to promote asym tools for next-generation products.
- Collaborate with ASE application engineering and Sales to promote technical capabilities, roadmaps, and manufacturing strengths.
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal engineering teams to address technology gaps and support product deployment.
- Contribute to long‑term roadmap development with ASE/USI manufacturing and R&D organizations.
- Advise internal stakeholders on customer technology trends, competitive positioning, and key technical issues.
- Drive technology engagements that lead to new business opportunities and design wins, increasing adoption of ASE and USI’s strategic platforms.
- Support executive management in shaping long‑term advanced packaging technology and business strategies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Company requires a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts (BA) or higher and/or 8-10 years of sales experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Contract Manufacturing/EMS or semiconductor packaging industry. Must have direct sales experience in consumer products and with major clients (Fortune 500 or equivalent).
Candidates should have experience managing strategic customer accounts and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The role requires the ability to deliver technical presentations, develop customer proposals, and provide structured progress reports. Strong organizational and computer skills are required.

- Demonstrated success in business development, negotiations, and deal closing.
- Strategic mindset with long‑term customer development vision.
- Ability to navigate challenging market or customer situations constructively.
- Strong cultural awareness and adaptability in a global organization.
- Automotive industry experience is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of power devices and automotive powertrain technologies is a plus.
- This position requires both domestic and international travel.
