Account Executive – Tableau | Public Sector

Account Executive – Tableau, France (Local Public Sector)

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive the expansion of Tableau across local public sector entities in France—Regions, Departments, Metropolises, and Communes—by building enduring relationships with key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute account plans aligned with digital transformation agendas of local public actors.
• Create high‑level relationships and position Tableau as the strategic decision‑making foundation for public entities.
• Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to final negotiation in a complex, competitive environment.
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary team (pre‑sales consultants, services, marketing, customer success) to maximize impact on each opportunity.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience selling software (SaaS) or complex solutions with long cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation skills and rigor in tracking commercial forecasts.
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior decision makers in public organizations.
• Fluency in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the French public sector and procurement processes for local entities.
• Experience building high‑value business cases and partner alliances.
• Interest in analytics and intellectual curiosity to master cutting‑edge technical solutions.
