Job Summary:As Pay

Pal continues its mission to revolutionize commerce, we’re looking for an Account Executive, SMB Outbound to join our Small and Medium Business Sales team in Paris.

Every new SMB merchant we bring on is a small business getting a better way to get paid and grow. In this role, you’ll acquire new merchants — including winback business — from partner platforms, working across a mix of DBM, partner-generated and AI-supported prospecting leads.

It’s a fast-paced, high-volume acquisition role: you’ll qualify opportunities, present a clear value proposition, handle merchant objections, and support a smooth handover of newly acquired merchants to the Account Representative team.

Job Description:Essential Responsibilities: Engage and collaborate with the immediate team.

Contribute to solutions and suggest efficiencies.

Exercise judgment on issues of importance.

Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.

Prioritize work and ensure task completion guided by policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:What You’ll Do

Qualify partner-sourced and AI-qualified leads, prioritising outreach against defined policies and procedures.

Present standard onboarding and value propositions to merchants operating on partner platforms.

Handle routine objections, close the right opportunities, and support a smooth path to Pay

Pal acceptance.

Keep accurate activity, pipeline and next-step records, and hand newly acquired merchants to the Account Representative team with complete context.

What We’re Looking For

Skilled at qualifying leads quickly, asking focused questions, spotting fit, and advancing the right opportunities efficiently.

A clear, confident communicator who can explain value in terms that resonate with merchants and handle common objections calmly.

Disciplined about pipeline hygiene, accurate stages, next actions and follow-up cadence, even across a high-volume funnel.

A collaborative partner who can work within established playbooks, ask for support when needed, and ensure a complete handover to the Account Representative team.

Experience in sales, customer acquisition, inside sales or a comparable customer-facing environment is a plus.
