Account Executive – Food & Beverage

We are expanding our Sales team in France and looking for a full‑stack Sales person to engage with prospects and turn them into happy Alan customers. You will focus on companies in the Food & Beverage industry, interacting with a variety of company leaders.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • The average sales cycle is 6 months, dealing with companies ranging from 30 to 300 employees, with an average ARR of 150 k €.
  • Drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects.
  • Educate prospects, provide product demos, and onboard key stakeholders, making the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
  • Apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method to create a pleasant prospect experience.
  • Help grow and improve the company by challenging products, methods, and strategy, and participating in initiatives to expand the customer base.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience managing the entire sales cycle with prospecting as a key part of the role.
  • Full working proficiency in French (C2 or higher) and an advanced level in English.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow‑up skills.
  • Empathy and passion for understanding and solving prospects’ problems.
  • Strong influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus‑building.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
  • Great attitude and ability to collaborate in a small team.
  • Willingness to learn fast and make an impact from day 1.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to one of the following cities: Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz.
  • We are aiming to hire within the C0‑D level range.
