Job Description

  • The Account Coordinator supports the Account Management team in daily commercial and operational activities with OEM and within the LEAR organization. The role ensures smooth communication, accurate data management, and reliable follow‑up of customer and internal requests across all departments (engineering, quality, logistics, finance, etc.).
  • The position may include direct communication and negotiation with the customer depending on topic complexity.
  • This role offers strong development opportunities within the Sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Follow‑up: Track, understand and consolidate customer requests and expectations (RFQs, changes, documentation) and ensure timely internal distribution.
  • Quotation Support: Prepare cost breakdowns, collect inputs from cross‑functional teams, and support quotation submissions. May handle direct submissions and negotiations depending on topic scope.
  • Data & KPI Management: Maintain dashboards, pricing files, and commercial databases well updated to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Cross‑functional Coordination: Interface with finance, production plants, engineering, quality, and logistics to follow up on open actions and ensure alignment.
  • Customer Communication Support: Draft commercial emails, prepare meeting minutes, and support customer reviews. May handle direct communication depending on topic complexity.

Education Requirements

  • Master's degree in International Business with 1 year of experience OR Bachelor degree with 4+ years minimum in the automotive industry.

Experience Requirements

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple topics with accuracy, reliability and autonomy.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with numbers, KPIs, and structured reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Works effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
  • Proficient with Excel and the Windows environment, with the ability to manage data accurately.
  • Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers in English and French. A strong understanding is required.
