Position

emlyon business school is hiring a full‑time, full‑professor level faculty member in Corporate Finance, starting September2027.

Responsibilities

• Lead cutting‑edge research in Corporate Finance and contribute to the school's international research visibility.
• Develop and deliver innovative, action‑based learning experiences across undergraduate (BBA), graduate (Programme GrandeÉcole), and master’s level programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Department of Accounting and Corporate Finance and within affiliated research centers.
• Support and supervise doctoral students.
• Participate in institutional service, including program management, curriculum design, committee work, and external representation of the school.
• Regular evaluation will focus on research performance, teaching and student supervision, and institutional service.

Candidate Profile

• Ph.D. in Finance with a research focus on corporate finance issues.
• Proven publication record in top‑tier journals.
• Ability and willingness to collaborate on funded research projects.
• Desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and program development.
• Fluency in English is required; French language skills are a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Experience working in a collaborative, international environment.
• Capacity for institutional service, including program management and international representation.
• Willingness to relocate to Lyon or the surrounding area (relocation support provided).
