What will you do?
Bnode is offering a unique executive-level opportunity to lead and transform our global 3PL operations.
As COO Global 3PL, you will be fully accountable for the operational performance of a fast-growing, international logistics business, operating across multiple regions and industries. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our operations, driving scalability, efficiency, and margin improvement while ensuring best-in-class customer delivery.
Working at C-level, you will partner closely with the CEO 3PL and executive leadership team to deliver operational excellence and enable sustainable, profitable growth across a global footprint.
Your role
You act as the global owner of operational performance across the 3PL network, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and commercial ambition.
You lead the transformation towards a scalable, data-driven, and high-performance operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all 3PL operations across warehousing, fulfilment, transport coordination, and value-added services
- Define and drive the global operational strategy across regions
- Build a culture of accountability, execution discipline, and performance
Operational excellence & performance
- Define and drive KPIs across service, productivity, cost, quality, and safety
- Lead continuous improvement through Lean, automation, and data-driven optimisation
- Standardise operating models while preserving local agility
Scalability & network optimisation
- Design and optimise the global logistics network to support growth and margin improvement
- Oversee capacity planning, footprint expansion, and site performance
- Ensure operational readiness for large-scale customer onboarding
Customer & commercial alignment
- Partner with commercial leadership to ensure operational feasibility and delivery excellence
- Act as executive sponsor for key strategic clients
Transformation & technology
- Drive the digital transformation of operations (WMS, automation, data platforms)
- Enable data-driven decision-making across planning and execution
- Partner with IT and architecture on long-term capability building
- Own key operational P&L drivers including productivity, cost base, and workforce planning
- Drive margin improvement and cost optimisation
- Support major investment and footprint decisions
People & leadership
- Lead and develop senior operations leaders across regions
- Build high-performing, engaged, and accountable teams
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Governance & compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Embed risk management and operational resilience across the network
Who are you?
Your profile
- 15+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or contract logistics (3PL/4PL)
- Proven track record leading large-scale, multi-country operations
- Strong experience in high-growth, international environments
- Solid background in operational P&L ownership and transformation programmes
- Deep expertise in warehousing, fulfilment, and logistics operations
- Strong understanding of automation, digitalisation, and data-driven operations
- Executive presence with the ability to influence at Board and Group level
- Outstanding leadership capabilities across large, distributed teams
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage
