As a Summer Intern in Global Markets, you will engage in a stimulating environment, exploring our sophisticated financial solutions across asset classes.

Our global Markets teams help clients manage risk, increase returns, and solve complex financial problems while tackling challenging business issues.
What You Can Expect
Our teamsoperatein all major financial markets and develop sophisticated financial solutions to help clients manage risk, increasereturnsand solve complex financial problems. Globally, we hold key positions across all major financial markets.
This is anine-weekprogram runningfromJune to August, targeted at penultimate year or final year students and is a pipeline to the analyst programme the following year. Based on your personal and collaborative achievements, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment for the analyst programme upon graduation.
Job Summary
As a Summer Intern in Global Markets, you will join one of two tracks:
- Trading : a unique insight into global markets – we provide liquidity to clients in all major asset classes and pride ourselves on our fast execution, marketshareand e-trading platforms. A trader’s role is to respond to and encourage client enquiries, manage the resulting risk, and understand and respond to market-moving events. Trading is detail-focused, mentally stimulating and requires detailed evaluations.
- Structuring & Origination: a dedicated team of professionals servicing the structured product requirements of our clients. The team offers a broad range of innovative investor products, liabilitymanagementand hedging solutions. J.P. Morgan offers a wide range of derivatives products to institutional investors, distributors,corporatesand private investors.
You’llsupport senior colleagues with important research,analysisand preparatory work. You willmonitormarkets, develop trade ideas, conduct portfolio reviews, and learn about the solutions and products we offer for clients to manage any market conditions. Your work and contributions will be valuable to the team from the start. Expert instructors and J.P. Morgan professionals will teach you about our history, the scale and scope of our organization today and our ambitious plans for tomorrow.We’llteach you technical and practical skills that will help you hit the ground running.

Required qualifications,capabilitiesand skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative (algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
- Adaptable, flexible, and resilient
- Fluency in English
- Willing to take on some responsibility and manage your own projects in collaboration with your colleagues.
- Graduation date fromSeptember2027toAugust2028.
