1 Planning engineer Lyon and 1 planning engineer in Paris

Lyon or Paris, France (Office-based)

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer / Planning & Scheduling Engineer to join a major FEED & EPC industrial project. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and controlling integrated project schedules throughout the engineering phase while preparing the overall EPC execution schedule. This position is ideal for professionals with experience on large-scale Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy or Industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 FEED schedules.
• Prepare the overall EPC Master Schedule.
• Develop resource‑loaded schedules using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Identify critical path, interfaces and project milestones.
• Monitor progress and analyse schedule performance.
• Produce forecasts and recovery scenarios.
• Participate in project reporting and dashboard preparation.
• Prepare planning narratives, assumptions, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Controls teams.
• Participate in internal and client progress meetings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Planning & Scheduling Engineer.
• Strong experience on FEED and/or EPC projects.
• Excellent understanding of Engineering, Procurement and Construction interfaces.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, Renewable Energy, Pharmaceutical.
• Technical skills: Microsoft Project, Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Controls, Excel, Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Languages: French (Professional).
