Hotel Overview

L’Hôtel Courtyard Paris Gare de Lyon is located in the 12e arrondissement, a young and dynamic neighborhood.

  • 249 spacious rooms on 19 floors with striking views of Paris monuments
  • 9 meeting rooms in the creative campus
  • Fitness center
  • Restaurant and bar "Kitchen & Bar" offering seasonal cuisine

Responsibilities

  • Handle client arrivals (check-in), departures (check-out), billing, and concierge services.
  • Present the hotel’s various services.
  • Coordinate client information with relevant departments.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints with the help of supervisors.
  • Manage the “Market” located at the front desk and ensure it is fully stocked.
  • Ensure proper functioning of the parking system.
  • Answer phone calls using Courtyard standards.
  • Manage the mail and message system.
  • Receive and deliver parcels to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with client luggage when necessary.
  • Operate client deposit safes.
  • Help achieve department goals (upsell, enrollments, GSS).
  • Use the computer system to its full extent, knowing credit limit, paid out, and billing procedures.
  • Input all billing elements for a stay, verifying room number and guest name.
  • Manage own cash register.
  • Perform SST (Sauveteur, Secouriste du travail) and SSIAP1 duties after training and exam validation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a reception role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attentive to guests.
  • Team player.
  • Proactive, organized, and meticulous.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with the Opera software is a plus.
  • Preference for individuals who like the color yellow (optional).
