Lead Cabin FAL Interface F/M - A320 Family

Overview

Join Airbus Procurement Operations in Toulouse as a Lead Cabin FAL Interface (CFI). In this role you will be the driving force between suppliers, production teams, and our airline customers, working on the ground in the Final Assembly Line to ensure the A320 is delivered on time and to the highest standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Act as the vital link between the Cabin Supply Chain and the Final Assembly Line.
• Manage all cabin supplier activities for assigned aircraft, ensuring key milestones from Cabin Fit‑Check to Handover are met.
• Coordinate on‑site teams and provide immediate reactivity to issues.
• Resolve operational constraints and manage non‑conformity items until closure.
• Prioritize supplier activities to align strictly with FAL milestones.
• Escalate critical issues via SQCDP boards and implement rapid solutions.
• Maintain supply chain security: monitor short‑term missing parts, provide accurate On‑Dock Dates (ODDs), and keep FAL leadership informed.
• Trigger long‑term risk management strategies in collaboration with Supply Chain Quality Managers.
• Identify repetitive issues in daily operations and initiate Practical Problem Solving (PPS) procedures.
• Collaborate with internal customers, providing operational feedback and supporting the liability process for non‑conformities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Background in Quality, Production, or Supply Chain; experience in Project Management is a strong asset.
• Autonomous, customer‑oriented, team‑player, remains calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with SAP (PEA, PAC) highly valued.
• Negotiation‑level English and advanced level French.
