Our client is seeking an experienced IT Transition PMO / Project Manager to support the consolidation and transition of multiple IT service providers into a single strategic offshore managed services partner.
The programme spans several IT towers, including Applications, Infrastructure & Cloud, Workplace Support, and Projects, and will play a key role in simplifying and centralising the organisation’s IT operating model across multiple regions.
This is a highly delivery-focused role, supporting the orchestration, coordination, and execution of a complex vendor transition programme alongside the Programme Director.
This is a long-term B2B contract opportunity based in Lyon, requiring regular onsite presence on a weekly basis.
The IT Transition PMO / Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of a large-scale IT services transition programme
- Coordinating the migration from multiple vendors and contractors to a single offshore strategic partner
- Driving programme execution across several IT service towers, including Applications, Infrastructure & Cloud, Workplace Support, and Projects
- Managing governance, reporting, planning, risks, issues, and dependencies across the programme
- Facilitating coordination between internal teams, external vendors, and leadership stakeholders
- Supporting transition planning, service readiness, and delivery alignment
- Ensuring timelines, actions, and deliverables are effectively tracked and executed
- Bringing structure and momentum to a fast-paced transformation environment
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to support decision-making and programme progress
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong PMO / Project Management experience within large-scale IT transformation programmes
- Previous experience managing IT outsourcing or managed services transitions
- Experience operating within multi-vendor environments and transitioning towards a strategic SI model
- Strong understanding of IT service environments, ideally across infrastructure, applications, and workplace services
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Strong governance, reporting, and programme delivery capabilities
- A hands‑on and execution-focused mindset, with the ability to drive activity and keep momentum
- Ability to work onsite regularly in Lyon
