Job Summary

As NetApp continues to grow and thrive, the need for a strategic and forward‑looking HRBP is paramount. The HRBP will hold primary strategic and tactical relationships for client business groups and diverse HR COEs, creating a high performing environment. Based in France, the HRBP primarily supports NetApp’s GTM business units in France and Western Europe, representing HR. Reporting to the Head of HR EMEA/LATAM, this Senior HRBP role collaborates with the wider HR community to define and execute HR strategies in alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, business savvy, and an effective influencer, consultant, coach and trusted advisor, with experience delivering organizational change.

Job Requirements

  • Assist in identifying and analyzing the HR needs of a designated business unit.
  • Provide tactical human resources support to line managers across staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations.
  • Consult with business unit management during strategic planning and on development of human resources strategies that support the unit’s business needs.
  • Drive HR initiatives within the organization and act as a liaison to other HR functions when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner across the client group, focusing on a broad‑based transformational agenda to attract, develop and retain the best innovative talent while fostering a high‑performing culture.
  • Hold primary strategic and tactical relationships in organizational design, succession planning and talent management for the client groups, providing guidance and coaching on key business strategies and initiatives.
  • Partner with COEs to develop relevant HR people strategies and programs aligned with company objectives, leading execution and adoption.
  • Build strong, trusted working relationships with business leaders, stakeholders and peers at all levels, influencing for the good of the company.
  • Regularly assess client groups and promote best practices in talent management.
  • Leverage data insights to present complex matters clearly and concisely, enabling leaders to implement people solutions in line with company strategy.
  • Coach, counsel and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.
  • Interpret HR analytics and share insights with senior leaders to enhance their understanding of people issues.
  • Partner with wider HR teams and COEs to implement best practices and contribute to a unified and consistent employee experience.
  • Champion and drive leadership ownership of best‑in‑class standards for the NetApp employer brand.
  • Promote equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging as part of the company culture, ensuring equality in opportunities and outcomes.
  • Stay apprised of local labor markets, legal and regulatory changes, and business trends to recommend relevant changes to HR policies and practices.
  • Support Legal and Employee Relations partners in executing their goals in respect to company objectives.

Qualifications and Education

  • 8+ years in Human Resources as an HRBP or generalist within a multinational organization.
  • Preferably experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience driving or being part of a team that implemented complex business transformation.
  • Experience delivering strategic HR initiatives and processes.
  • Strong understanding of business objectives and ability to translate them into pragmatic HR interventions.
  • Analytical, data‑driven mindset with high-level business acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in advising, coaching and influencing leaders.
  • Proactive contribution to business growth and a positive reputation across organizational levels.
  • Strategic orientation with a hands‑on approach to building high‑performing team culture.
  • Strong foundation in building trust, respect and confidence among leadership and employees.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build team capability and HR competency.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary offered will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of the typical range. Final compensation packages are competitive and align with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors. Benefits include Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance‑Based Incentives, an employee stock purchase plan and/or restricted stocks (RSUs).
