Role Context
This is a senior, permanent leadership role within a growing MedTech/Life Sciences distribution business undergoing a period of structural and operational evolution.
The organisation is strengthening its end‑to‑end operating model, with a clear ambition to move toward a mature, closed‑loop S&OP process that balances demand, supply, service and financial performance. This role will play a central part in shaping how supply planning, procurement and customer operations work together — today and in the future.
Reporting into senior operations leadership, you will own the planning and execution backbone of the business, partnering closely with Logistics (separate leadership), Commercial and Finance. You will also contribute to longer‑term organisational design, capability development and systems evolution.
What You Will Do
- Own and evolve the end‑to‑end S&OP framework , from demand planning through to supply execution and performance review
- Lead supply planning and procurement activities, ensuring robust forecasting, prioritisation and risk management
- Set the operating rhythm: planning cadences, governance, KPIs and escalation mechanisms
- Build and lead teams across Supply Planning, Procurement and Customer Operations (Customer Service, Tenders/Offers)
- Partner closely with Logistics leadership to ensure seamless execution from plan to delivery
- Work with Finance to align planning decisions with margin, working capital and service objectives
- Drive continuous improvement across workflows, data quality, tooling and ways of working
- Play a key role in shaping the future organisation structure, roles and capability model as the business grows
- Act as a visible, credible leader who brings clarity, direction and collaboration across functions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven senior experience in Supply Chain / Operations leadership , with hands‑on ownership of S&OP and demand planning
- Strong understanding of procurement, replenishment and planning in a distribution or regulated environment
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and building operating models, not just running processes
- A collaborative, structured leader who partners effectively with Commercial, Finance and Logistics
- Comfortable operating in evolving environments and scaling processes over time
- Strong analytical capability; ERP experience beneficial (Microsoft Dynamics exposure a plus)
- English required ; French strongly preferred
- MedTech, Pharma or regulated distribution experience advantageous, but not essential if supply leadership depth is strong
