You will work at the head office of the Sodexo group, located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, accessible from Paris by RER C, Tram T2 from La Défense and Porte de Versailles or metro line 12.


CONTEXT


As part of the Group Total Rewards team, you will join a team of 9 experts responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Group-wide Compensation, Benefits, and International Mobility policies and processes. The team focuses primarily on Sodexo’s 1,600 Group Senior Leaders and Executives, with extended scope to white-collar populations across the Group (+40,000 employees).


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Ownership of Reward Processes


  • Lead and support compensation processes for Group roles based in Issy-les-Moulineaux and other international hubs.
  • Ensure alignment of reward practices with Group policies, business priorities, and evolving market trends.
  • Act as a key contributor to the development and refinement of global Total Rewards policies and frameworks.


2. Grading & Job Architecture Expertise

  • Serve as the Group’s Subject Matter Expert on job grading, ensuring consistency and fairness across roles.
  • Maintain and update grading structures, supporting reclassifications and organizational changes.
  • Partner with the Talent team on job architecture, career path design, and modeling for key populations (e.g., sales, operations, frontliners).
  • Deliver training and guidance on grading principles to HR teams and business leaders.


3. Data-Driven Insights & Analytics

  • Design and deliver advanced Total Rewards analytics to support strategic decision-making and reporting, including: Pay transparency, Market competitiveness, Gender pay gap, People cost management
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for HR and leadership teams.


4. Project Leadership & Innovation

  • Drive the change management for the implementation of the European Pay Transparency Directive at Sodexo in Europe
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as: Living wage assessments, Sales incentive design, Compensation-related change management
  • Collaborate on the development of the HRIS roadmap, ensuring integration with broader HR processes and digital transformation efforts.


5. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture within the Group Total Rewards function.
  • Work closely with Regional Total Rewards teams, HRIS, and cross-functional HR stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including consultants and benchmarking providers.

PROFILE


  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Compensation & Benefits and / or HR Management and / or HR Consulting.
  • Experience at Corporate / Group level is a real plus
  • Experience in job classification and/or designing career pathing is a real plus
  • Experience in the management of large international projects is a real plus
  • The position is open to candidates with strong HR generalist experience and a genuine interest in managing the compensation side of it
  • Skilled in clarifying complex situations and formalizing policies/processes.
  • Enjoys working with software technology, excel tools and multiple large data bases.
  • Fluent in English and French; able to collaborate in a multicultural, virtual environment.
  • Based on the candidate’s experience the job can be held at Senior Manager level or Director level.
