We are recruiting a Business Development and Partnerships role.
Responsibilities
- Research, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria.
- Lead grant proposal development and submission—prepare and organize materials for proposals, submit and monitor grant applications, including:
- Research new funding and business development opportunities on a local, state, and national level.
- Maintain and build relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a local, state, and national level.
- Draft proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets; collaborate to finalize with program staff, finance, and Executive Directors.
- Monitor and maintain funder and investor reporting schedules and requirements.
- Assemble all necessary supporting materials and documents including budget reports, outcome measurements, success stories, etc.; submit reports to funders and investors.
Monitoring of Ongoing Partnerships
- Coordinate funded or internalized projects.
- Prepare reports to partners and negotiate critical points.
- Value partnerships internally and externally by contributing to the definition of the communication plan and writing presentation documents.
- Manage grants conditioned by R&D activity, including the research tax credit, in cooperation with the DAF and operational divisions.
Management
- Organize and control work by creating performance‑friendly working conditions.
- Create quality working conditions by establishing efficient collaboration and ensuring a good flow of information within the team and with the entire organization.
- Adapt practices with a perspective of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- PhD in science and at least ten years of grant‑management experience; scientific profile ideally in gene therapy or regenerative medicine with dual competence in science and marketing/business development.
- Experience with French and international grants and consortia (ANR, BPI, Horizon, ERC, Marie Curie, etc.).
- Fluent in French and English.
- Superior organizational skills, strong leadership qualities, and exceptional project‑management, budgeting, and monitoring skills; ability to reinforce relationships with donors, ensure efficient grant programs, streamline administration, and keep the organization fiscally sound.
