Global eCommerce Director
Our global end client in Paris is a world leading company with a presence in 100+ countries worldwide, generating billions EUR in annual sales. Renowned for their premium products and services, the company serves customers through direct sales, comprehensive services, and cutting‑edge digital platforms.
The Global E-Commerce Director will be responsible for defining and executing the company's digital commerce strategy across markets. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the intersection of e‑commerce, digital acquisition, and business performance.
You will work closely with global teams, including marketing, sales, product, technology, data and commercial, to drive the growth of digital sales channels and elevate the overall online customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute the global e‑commerce strategy, customer acquisition, conversion optimisation and digital sales growth
- Own and steer the full digital acquisition mix across markets: SEO, SEA, paid media, affiliation, and emerging channels including AI‑driven search
- Drive performance across all digital touchpoints, with a clear focus on measurable business outcomes (revenue, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate)
- Lead a direct team of 4 specialists while influencing a broader cross‑functional community
- Contribute to platform roadmap decisions, replatforming initiatives, and the evolution of the company's digital commerce architecture
- Establish clear performance frameworks, reporting and governance to drive transparency and accountability across stakeholders
Your Profile
- 8 to 12 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving online revenue growth
- Experience within a major eCommerce actor with international scope is required
- Solid hands‑on expertise across digital acquisition levers (SEO/SEA, paid media, CRO) combined with a strong business and P&L mindset
