Ecommerce Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
De Beers London is recruiting a Logistics & E-commerce Coordinator responsible for ensuring seamless movement of goods across France, the UK and the EU. The role involves managing logistics operations, customs compliance, and e-commerce fulfilment to support stores and online channels while upholding the highest standards of compliance, service, and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
- Organise and monitor all import/export shipments across the UK and France/EU.
- Ensure secure, timely, and cost‑effective deliveries of finished jewellery, diamonds, e‑commerce orders, and packaging/VM.
- Instruct carriers on appropriate customs regimes and maintain expert knowledge of Incoterms.
- Support France stores with shipments to the UK Head Office.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date logistics records and trackers.
- Review and process logistics invoices in SAP.
- Oversee the hallmarking process in coordination with stores and carriers.
- Manage customs declarations with carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain expert‑level knowledge of French Incoterms and customs procedures.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance for jewellery, stones, and precious metals.
- Act as the primary contact for customs agents and brokers.
- Produce regular reports on logistics performance, costs, lead times, and issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in cost, sustainability, and efficiency.
- Pick and pack products from stores for France e‑commerce orders.
- Collaborate with customer service to manage returns, after‑sales queries, and tracking issues.
- Conduct quality control checks on sales and returned products.
- Maintain and update the e‑commerce sales tracker.
- Provide support cover for the Rue de la Paix Administration Manager during periods of absence, including responsibilities such as managing store communications, processing stock transfers, maintaining accurate records, coordinating deliveries, and supporting daily operational tasks.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain or e‑commerce operations, preferably in luxury retail.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, especially French Incoterms and EU/UK trade compliance.
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal French and English.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; experience with logistics tracking tools is a plus.
