Key responsibilities
 

The Data Quality Specialist plays a pivotal role in unlocking the power of data across the organization. Partnering with key stakeholders and data stewards, this role ensures that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable, fueling business decisions across all Lines of Business (LoBs) and Functions.

Working closely with the Data Quality Manager, the Data Quality Specialist will support ongoing remediation efforts by analyzing, collecting, cleaning, and interpreting datasets to solve complex data quality challenges. The role also involves collaborating with regulatory stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and leveraging leading tools such as Informatica and Databricks to uphold the highest standards of data quality.

Through this role, you will have the main following responsabilities:
 

  • Handle and model large datasets, solving complex problems and answering critical business questions through detailed data analysis.
  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including direct interaction and communication with regulators regarding data-related matters.
  • Extract, integrate, and manipulate data to build robust data pipelines, automate reporting processes, and enable self-service analytics.
  • Design and manage scalable solutions for key metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive business success.
  • Conduct data profiling on new and existing data sources to assess quality, completeness, and consistency.
  • Monitor Critical Data Elements (CDEs) through automated processes, setting thresholds and alerts to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Lines of Business (LoBs), Business Units (BUs), and IT to define data ownership, accountability, and data quality standards.
  • Utilize Informatica and Databricks to manage, cleanse, and transform data efficiently.
  • Develop insightful data visualizations to communicate findings and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and address root causes of data quality issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • What you bring

    • 5–10 years of professional experience in data management, analytics, or data quality roles, ideally within a regulated industry.
    • Proven experience interacting with regulators, including communication, documentation, and follow-up on data-related inquiries or audits.
    • Hands-on experience with Informatica and Databricks, particularly in implementing and monitoring data quality processes.
    • Strong understanding of data governance, data management frameworks, and data quality best practices.
    • Multi-year experience collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum, OPEX, Six Sigma, and/or PMP methodologies.
    • Demonstrated success in supporting transformation or change management programs.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment is preferred.
