Data analyst specialist

Your Role

He / She must manage the adequacy between strategic objectives and the Information System (IS). He/She converts and defines requirements to ISD, and secures availability and quality of the data.

What You Are Going to Do

1. Manage the link between internal services and the IT solution department.
   • Work closely with support functions, contract managers, operations, and the IT solution department.
   • Centralize the requirements from support functions, operations, and contract management.
   • Define the scope, objectives, and definition of the need with demanders.
   • Identify and coordinate stakeholders in order to build the solution (resources, key users, impacted parties).
2. Collect and analyse data.
   • Define the data required and the data source.
   • Verify quality and availability of the data.
   • Define clear specifications and template, and validate with demanders.
   • Check feasibility with the IT solution department.
   • Define a timeline with the IT solution department.
3. Propose and test a solution.
   • Test the solution.
   • Implement the solution.
   • Control the application.
4. Manage data quality.
   • Verify data quality in the reports and tools.
   • Track actions with the IT solution department or involved parties on data deviations.
5. Liaise with the IT solution department and the quality department.
   • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools (digital transformation, data management and standardization).
   • Build a tracker of existing reports and avoid duplication of documents.
   • Build an index of data, definitions and usage.
6. Intervene at different steps of the organization and help build operational set up.
   • Implementation: build contract reports.
   • Run: maintain data quality and reporting.

Experience

• 3-5 years experience.
• Business analyst (Air & Sea freight operations).
• 4PL / Control Tower Structure.
• Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
• Licence or Master Degree in data analysis, data science and forecasts.
• Ability to travel (25%).
• Fluent in English, French and a local language is a plus.
