Chase Boat Captain - 70m Private Motor Yacht

Job Overview

Seeking an Experienced Chase Boat Captain for a 20‑metre chase boat aboard a 70‑metre private motor yacht operating in the South of France.

Contract & Compensation

• Permanent position starting in March.
• Salary: €5,000 per month.
• 60 days annual leave.
• Living on board; self‑sufficient in vessel running.
• Mediterranean itinerary.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate the chase boat safely and efficiently.
• Drive large tenders prior to deployment.
• Oversee engineering tasks and maintenance schedule to keep the vessel in top operational condition.
• Perform and supervise engine, boiler, and systems maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Yachtmaster Offshore certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a chase boat or tender captain.
• Strong boat handling and navigational skills.
• Engineering experience/background in mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to live on board and maintain self‑sufficiency.
