Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager France will be responsible for developing and managing commercial activities in the French market, working for AROL HEXAGONE with a primary and dedicated focus on Tirelli products and solutions.
This role is strongly business-oriented and focused on market development, new customer acquisition, and long-term relationship building, particularly within the cosmetics and personal care industries, as well as related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the French and Benelux markets, with exclusive focus on Tirelli complete packaging lines
- Identify, prospect, and develop new customers, particularly within cosmetics, personal care, and related industries
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction
- Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers within the assigned territory
- Work closely with Tirelli headquarters in Italy and internal technical teams to define customized technical and commercial solutions
- Coordinate with after-sales and technical departments to ensure smooth project execution and effective customer follow-up
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events in France and Europe
- Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting through the Group CRM system
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales roles, preferably in:
- packaging machinery
- filling and/or labeling equipment
- capital equipment for cosmetics or personal care industries
- Proven experience or strong interest in B2B industrial machinery sales
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously, while being fully integrated into an international group structure
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within France, with occasional business trips to Italy
- Good knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office; all sales activities are managed via CRM
- Valid driving license
Language Skills
- Fluent French (mandatory)
- Professional working proficiency in English (mandatory)
- Italian is considered a plus
